So, its been awile since i last narrated a blog. Actually let me explain why i am narrating this blog entry. The answer being boredom on Chantelle’s part, lazyness on Tariq’s part and finally intrigument on Zahid’s part. So lets start with the talk of the town. Saeed’s birthday bonanza aka The Greatest Birthday Ever! Some of the things which happened that night are never to be spoken of again by those involved. So unfortunatly i cant share as much as i would like, but it was a truly memorable and bonding experience (thanks Zahid for that word.) And then even after Saeed had left and the bonanza had finished, the fun carried on till the early hours with the legendary team game of who could think of the most ‘ate’ words (pause for we had to explain the game for Zahid) It was one of my most memorable nights in manchester to date. P.S the presents were too much. P.P.S the food at zouk’s was amazing, the steak was too nice, in fact thats the little picture im going to put up on the side Now on to the next bonanza…
ZAHIDS BIRTHDAY BO-NAN-ZA! Started off with a mass battle between Chantelle and Zaf, along the lines of ‘Why dont you drink?’ A vicious assault from Zaf which resulted in me, Mohsin and Riz having to stick up for Chantelle and ask the same question to Zaf, why doesnt he drink?! Also, unfortunatly some of the Saeed birthday bonanza shenanigans were brought into Zahids birthday bonanza and the results werent pleasant for all involved (im being intentionally vague for my readers, i wish to protect you from this VILE… thing!) Then we went to Akbars aka Rudebars but their service was shocking, there was no take your time, no feel free to stick around, it was sit down, order, eat, do one! That lack of time in ordering led me and Talli to rush and pick a dish which was not right for us and our needs of what we wanted to eat. At this point i was dreaming of being back in time 24 hours to the real birthday bonanza (just kidding for Zahid, i really enjoyed the rude waiters) Then we went to Shisha and that was wicked. Me, Riz and H did karaoke without a karaoke machine. The whole shisha cafe looked at us disgustedly as we were ruining their shisha music experience. We replied by singing louder “We gotta fight fight fight fight fight for this love!!!!” Then it turned 12 oclock and we gave Zahid birthday wishes and majority of us unfortunatly had to disperse as some had to go home and others had pressing matters. FYI on that thursday i got my first last year assignment mark back and me and Mohsin and Talha and Giorgio and Mattia got 75%. Very proud to say the least, ecstatic to say the most, anything in between is a medium answer.
Now on to this week at Manchester (Barlick was standard) Monday morning started with the new Zahid, waking up before 9am, 8.22 to be precise. Going for breakfast and then going into uni for before 10am and then staying in university until 5.30pm (pause for shock to wear off) The guy kicked it. Shame he didnt do any work. Then me, H, Muddy, Zahid and Mohsin embarked on one of the greatest walks home i have ever experienced. Again, i shall protect my readers from some of the obscenities that were used but a comment i made about Zahid had H in such laughter i thought he was gonna die. Then we chilled at night and i felt it was up to me to now try and get the second slacker to go to university. So i set my eyes firmly on Chantelle and i knew there was one thing that motivated her… Food! (only joking) I offered Chantelle a meal to come in to university at 9oclock and low and behold at 9oclock like clockwork she was ringing the bell and getting herself in and ready to go to university with Ibrar. Then at uni i went into the library and low and behold she was in the library doing work! The shock on my face was priceless! So after watching liverpool getting knocked out of the Champions league (hahahahahah) me and Chantelle went to Nandos and had a tremendous meal and nice and revealing talk. Then we went back to the house and heard all about TNF (Tuesday night football) Zahid says (“not I say its a fact, i played awesomly, this is aside from the quotations i scored 3 goals in 3 minutes or was it 2 minutes, no just put 3 minutes”) In my opinion its just a cheap friday night football althought there are disagreements in Manchester and Mohsin did soil the name, the good name, of friday night football ratings with his shoddy, disgraceful twitter post! Today i chilled with aneesa and chantelle and ibrar and told the truth… It was a very good laugh we had 
me and ibrar are too much at telling the truth…
So whats upcoming in the life of Tariq? Thats the question Chantelle just asked me (Chantelle says thats a lie, but i lie on my website my readers should know that) I replied enthusiastically, Eid on friday, going home early on thursday. i have no Eid clothes thought, dissapointed. Then back to work on saturday and sunday have a big few weeks now til christman holidays, need to do alot of work. Hopefully i should get good grades. Now, we are hoping Zahid gets motivated and hands in a brilliant assignment, hoping being the key word.

i have been ill… Man cold slash lack of eating again… i have a doctors appointment on weds… gonna see if he will give me drugs to hide the problem for a while so i can put some weight on! Anyhoo Whats been going on well Friday Night Football has already been discussed but what else happened… Had fun at the Chantelle birthday bonanza… OMG we did fireworks (muddy and asjads present) and it was so scary cause a firework hit a tree and came back at us and almost hit asjad. Then went to dinner and the food was nice but i didnt eat much cause i wasnt very well and cause of that i couldnt chill much at night… But was a good laugh!!! i woke up at 4 and chantelle and talal were chilling and i was so out of it but went to chill with them a bit… i fear for the things i could have said… i dont remember i had very little control over my body… Without self restriction i fear for what was said… I gave her my present though… a lime green man met hoodie 
you know thats slick!!!
Friday went home and work then FNF and then Saturday i went to work… and i found out that Laura is an AVID reader of my blog! i was so buzzing… it was class!!! Proper made my day… i didnt think anyone would read yet then i was buzzing when i found out! Then i watched david hayes dullest fight ever at manzars with the boys and we just talked about the scary chelsea game and how we were going to get battered! Then sunday came and i went home for work sick cause my man cold was proper bad… then i went to watch the game and cried cause we were better and lost!
Monday i spent at home not at uni cause im ill and spent all day final year projecting and digital Marketing. One thing i have realised is that my final year project is going to be solid… I need to get some hardcore reading done before i can start… next time im in uni i just need to get some reading… I keep emailing my tutor but he doesnt reply! Just cause he has a cool name (Angel Salazar) doesnt mean he cant ignore my emails… 
Although with a name like that you can do whatever you want! And oh yeah Asia taught me a new word which im going to incorporate into my vocab aswell wiltering… Good little word that!
Tuesday i have done little work and am going to chill with alfie in a bit… Got a proper morale boost from the Sonia and Ifrah talking about my website… I dont know why i proper buzz when anyone mentions my website its like a very good achievement for me! I am feeling a bit better today and i think im going to be back in manchester wednesday and gonna go watch a christmas carol with sabi and whoever else wants to come on weds! then on sat if its a good movie im going to watch it with alfie at IMAX in bradford DIGITAL DISNEY 3D IMAX!!! Should be amazing!!! A christmas carol is one of the stories i have always remembered from a kid… i remember reading it and i buzzed off it! You cant beat an old grumpy man becoming nice! Although the name of the movie could be a bit different init… lol just kidding! im okay with that part of my life… i would even re add her but at the moment shes far too hardcore in her twitter updates for me to be able to be add her… need for her things to settle down then im pretty sure we can be friends again.
I have realised a few things… Co-op is actually a good place to work whilst being a student… I always wanted to quit before now for the first time… im actually okay with working (although i still hate certain customers… Ibrar will know who… One guy calls me cock casually everytime he comes to my till! i say lan to him! i actually hate that guy!) Another thing i have realised is that Youtube is amazing for when your bored! I have always under rated Youtube as a site… but i was just watching like a million music videos off it on sunday its class! its my media player atm! And the final thing i have realised is that Twitter is the future and everyone should get on twitter… Seriously any twitter people find me im tariq89 i love group tweet convos on twitter with ataf sadif and mohsin. its brilliant!

The game started and it was a classic five a side game where we would score and then they would score but we kept ourselves consistently throughout the match not being behind then after a long period where there was no goal being conceded for either side it was us who got the crucial goal then and then romped home in the end. However the game was a lot tighter then the scoreline would suggest until the last 15 minutes where our team just started taking our chances.
Amjad – 6.5 A good performance from Amjad where he scored more goals then usual and still did his usual steady away performance with passing and defending…
Asad – 6 Much improved performance from Asad. Did very well with running off the ball but struggled a little with finishing. Didnt make any obvious bad passes when on the ball and kept the game simple… Let in a couple of soft goals but the power was there in the shots when he let them in. All in all a much improved performance which he will be looking to take further in his next outings.
Babz – 6 Looked good when going forward but wasnt really involved as much as his team would have liked. His passing was good for most of the game then went a bit to direct when chasing the game and made his teammates run down balls when he could have just kept it a bit more simpler.
Majid – 6.5 Finishing was a little off today from the man dubbed as “The Pakistani Lionel”. Great energy levels and passing again was good. Brings other people into the game very well and wasnt really caught out defensively.
Sadif – 6.5 Spent most of the game out of nets which will be a boost for his personal fitness. Looked sharp and scored a few goals where he was back to his imperious best (a nutmeg on me was particularly spectaculor). Got frustrated towards the end as a few chances passed him by and still not back but well on his way!
Irfan – 8 Link up play with mohsin and khawer in particular was brilliant but also didnt shirk his defensive duty but that could be said for the team as a whole. Scored a lot of goals and created a lot and was at the forefront of most good things created by the team.
Khawer – 7.5 Would have had a 8 with Irfan but again his comments on the pitch just dont make sense… On the field he was excellent in closing down and being a nuisance up front and getting back and making sure people had men. Scored his fair share just should be a little more positive with his shouts on the field.
Mohsin – 7.5 Scored a share of goals today and also did well in defensive duties. Still thought he was either a little ill or hasnt shaken of the knee injury as he wasnt at his free flowing best (if there is anything free flowing). Looked assured on the ball and probably played one of his better passing games today. All in all a good day.
Tariq – 6 Where as Sadif looks like he is finally winning the fitness battle today Tariq may have suffered a relapse. Unfortunately felt some stomach pains which reoccured from the infamous summer illness in the past so after a third of the match was confined to the nets and let in some cheap goals but also made some decent saves. Outfield didnt make any glaring errors on the ball but got beaten too easily a couple of times.
Zafeer – 6.5 For most of the game he was left one on one and a few times was done for pace or skill but towards the end of the game he put in a couple of tremendous tackles to win the ball and start counter attacks. Also the big man got forward and bagged a couple of goals and fair play to him as he put in a accomplished performance. Always tried to make himself an option and gave good positive shouts aswell.

Its been a week and i havent blogged… this was not out of forgetfulness or anything like that… You see i have been meaning to do this blog but i havent got a suitable picture to put in the heading thing cause i lost all my pictures when my laptop got broken i lost all data and i cant get the pictures of anyone else… Its a bit of a crap thing going down… i need to get it off asjad but his laptop is also broken…
So whats been going down… Life has been pretty good.. Been buzzing of the manchester crew… Have been chilling with the SRB boys(asjad, ibrar, muddy, talal and zahid). You cant beat Schuster road its actually toooooooooooo much… Also uni has been okay but need to get cracking on final year project. Need to start doing academic reading its just so boring…
Work has been okay but i was ill today cause mohsin was ill yesterday and he gave me his illness whilst watching united… felt a bit better today so i went to work… work was alright too… proper chilled in the afternoon and didnt do any work… i was buzzing cause all i did was drink tea with gareth and listen to music of my phone…
THEN ON THAT SUNDAY IT ALL KICKED OFF
i was going to post this on the sunday… then ibrar ran into my room and said mohsin has left his facebook on… This is relevent cause last year mohsin raped my facebook and destroyed it… so this was revenge and i had muddy ibrar and asjad… i added him in groups and was sending funny messages to some people then got busted before i could really destroy it… Then mohsin came to our house… and he locked himself in my room and then forgot to unlock the room as he left and someone shut the door meaning on sunday i had to sleep on the sofa without a phone any other clothes no wallet no nothing … worst sleep of my life seriously!!!!!!
i couldnt leave the house until the landlady got there the next day and she came at half 1 and it took 20 minutes to get in… it took ages… Then on tuesday i went to uni and cained some DMERM work and today i have been working on my final year project… need to get cracking on the reading of that… not looking forward to resuming after my blogging break…. had breakfast at ambala today with talal aka tali!!! naughty cup of tea… Also bought chantelles birthday present… Chantelles birthday bonanza will be going down tomorrow… Oh yeah and started my healthy eating routine in a big way… eating a banana right now… 5 a day is the future!!!
I have new found respect for Twitter… its alright ya know… i am starting to prefer it to facebook… i rarely go on facebook nowadays… twitter is the future! Watched united last night was very frustrated with the performance need a massive improvement to beat chelsea… need a big performance to get a result at the bridge!!! Going to watch liverpool tonight aswell… looking forward to that… should be an awesome game!!! well hope lyon win…

Just a quick review of Friday Night Football (FNF) since I was forced to the sidelines and wasn’t able to play. It was very competitive game and remained close throughout, even though on paper I would say the better team lost.

(19) Majid, Irfan, Amjad, Mohsin, Raheem
Amer – 9 - another solid performance, was made to do lots of running, scored the kind of goals from distance only he can, rolled back the years with some sublime skill, the highlight of the game was the turn that sent Irfan completely the wrong way (I think he ended up in Thornton!!) and a trademark finish.
Manzar – 8.5 - obviously the most technically and physically competent player on the pitch, almost all of his goals were self-made, communicated well and tried to instill discipline and an element of calm to the team. Did miss a few relatively easy chances and I think slightly intimidated his team-mates.
Khawer – 5 - usually accustomed to having the ‘Most Willing Runner’ tag, however, i think because Manzar was also playing, this week Khawer’s performance was off-key. Seemed to be in a bad mood from the off, making silly runs and asking far too much from others, had it not been for the others keeping the team-spirit alive, his attitude would have clearly poisoned his own team-mates.
Tariq – 5 - ordinarily five out of ten would be a poor performance, but you have to remember his physical condition, to get the same rating as Khawer and to go the whole game without too many glaring mistakes due to lacking fitness, is actually an achievement.
Asad – 5 - it is always difficult for youngster to play with players who are significantly bigger and stronger than they are, but it is not helped when every mistake is scrutinized. Having said that, he did miss a lot of easy chances and even marking Raheem, he struggled to get into the right positions.
Majid – 8 – you could say he is the luckiest player ever, but he has been doing it for so long that you have to give him credit, the ball just sticks to his feet and he was always willing to keep possession when others weren’t able to offer an option. He was the only player that wasn’t phased by Manzar’s presence and would have a go, his only down-side is his wayward shooting.
Irfan – 7 - another good performance from Irfan, linked up well with former school-mate Amjad, always looked capable of scoring with either foot, did start to get snuffed out as the game heated up.
Amjad – 6 - kept things ticking over with lots of simple passes and the occasional burst, but does not do enough positive running, mainly due to fitness. Relied too much on others to make space and runs, a bit like a quarter-back, which is a luxury you can’t afford in a 5-a-side match.
Mohsin – 7 - similar to Amjad, in that he was always looking for others to do the things he is not prepared to do himself, but when he defended well and looked a threat from distance, got a rating boost by some truly exceptional goal-keeping in the last 10 minutes, that ultimately led his team to victory.
Raheem – 6.5 – as the youngest player on the pitch you would think he would have been their weak link, but he was full of running, looked completely unfazed. Has very good control of the ball and his first touch was better than a lot of senior players, however, this single-minded confidence that he has often leads him to overlook or delay the simple pass.

New look blog… I like this theme so im probably going to stick with it for a while… Sadif was the chief enabler in all of this happening so i would like to say thank you and if you dont read his blog you should aswell… Like anyone is reading this apart from sadz… Who are we kidding eh!
FNF match rating will be done by sadif this week… they should be arriving at the latest tomorrow im assuming… i dont see no reason why they would come at a later time… Was working at the co-op today and the lies we said last week have stuck with one customer… i was buzzing and carried on the lie… She thinks in december Ibrar is going to australia….
Today i was pretty much chilling… i watched tv and the normal friday thing occured… Just kept myself busy til 3 went to work then played football then the boys came down to mine… First it was mohsin and sadif then sadif went then amer came… us three ataf and kashaf got some food ate it… watched seinfeld generally chilled… it ended up being a good night…
First of question time… Regardless of how much Nick Griffin was exposed the fact he was on legitimised the fact the bnp are an actual existance and thats just the sad thing But i dont even want to waste words on them… Theres better things to blog about then people who cant get over there own inner weaknesses and just blame miniorites or people with differing lifestyles…
Something much more worth the time talking about is MANCHESTER UNITED VS LIVERPOOL!!! This sunday… 2:00pm… meaning i cant watch it… unless something magical happens… I cant see liverpool losing 5 games in the row… my brain just cant comprehend such a thing to happen… even though they have been playing so badly they will play better against us… and apparently rooney and gerrard are doubts… i hope we win after the last season debarcle…
In other news… Something amazing happened to mohsin on Thursday… Words can not describe what actually happened… but let me assure you… it was by far the funniest thing ever… it was throughly embarrasing for all involved and i dont think i have laughed so hard in my life…
University isnt too bad at the moment… Life at the moment is just going along… I cant wait for football seen as though i have been cleared and have actually got more vitamin E then a fish, its all about getting fit now… Although i know football is going to be solid for next few weeks hopefully i start building up stamina and hopefully i will be better physically then ever before insh’Allah. Although for this week Ataf and Sadif will be both be out joining long time injured player khuram on the sidelines. Possible replacements could be Asad and Rahim but likely to come in are Veterans Manzar and Saqub.
PRO EVOLUTION IS ALSO OUT TODAY!!! I EXPECT ATAF TO HAVE BOUGHT IT BY THE TIME I COME BACK FROM FNF! (although i dont expect it to be as good as fifa 10…)
